A DECADE OF LIGHT
ESCAYPE’S 10TH ANNIVERSARY PHOTO EXHIBITION

10 years ago, my partner Jeff Lewis and I founded Escaype. It began as a weather service for photographers. Escaype has evolved over the years into a community for Bay Area photographers who love chasing good light.
Our first exhibition, Bay Area In Motion, happened in 2019 with over 80 images. We all looked forward to the next year’s show, but, as we all know, 2020 put a dent in those plans. We return in 2025 with our 10 year show, A Decade of Light, with prints made in our very own print lab. We will feature our members’ best works that showcase the beauty of light from around the world.
We have collaborated with the San Mateo Garden Center to host our show in conjunction with one of their Open Sundays. The public is invited to visit the scenic grounds of the Gardens. Admission is free and prints are available for sale. Artists will be there so you can get to know them. We plan to have photography workshops. Please visit our website for more information.

Tree Improvement Program

Everyone is invited to participate, so check out your tree collection and see what trees you have questions about. Mehrdad Chavosh and Elliott Cooper-Balis will be handling your questions and calling on club members who have comments. When you first arrive with your tree, please approach the desk in the back for a number that you will be called upon in sequence. It’s ok if you have two or more trees you want reviewed.
